Each month, I’ll share tips, inspiration, and small ways to create more joy and wellness in your daily routine. I'll focus on holistic well-being, because you deserve to feel nourished physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Each letter will now include:

The Message: A curated message of promptings from the Holy Spirit on how to finally find whole-being wellness.

The Song: A song I can't stop listening to this week.

The News: Events, Classes, or other cool happenings I don't want you to miss out on.

The Prayer: As always, we'll end with a prayer for you.


This Week's Goodness

The Message:

"Come to me all who labor and are heavy burdened and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28

As moms, it’s so easy to give and give until we’re running on empty. This verse reminds us that we’re invited to find rest and strength beyond our own resources. Take a moment today to sit quietly, take a deep breath, and let go of what weighs you down. God is there, ready to renew your strength if you’re willing to give it all to Him—even for just a moment.

3 Tips to creating calm:

  1. Prioritize yourself. Each hour, take 5 minutes to breath deeply, and relax your whole body (even if you have to do it in the bathroom like I do!!). Living in a state of constant fight or flight is not healthy for our bodies.
  2. Wake up 10 minutes earlier to start your day intentionally with prayer and positive thinking.
  3. At the end of each day, imagine all of the days worries draining out the bottom of your feet like water being let down a drain. Allow yourself to let go of today's baggage. Give them all to God.

I guarantee these small changes will begin to lift your spirit and crush those anxious thoughts.

Lord Heavenly Father. I pray for Reader today. May you help her see that she is more than the anxieties that plague her and the worries that flood her mind. Help her to come closer to you in prayer and gratitude, and lead her into the JOY you intended. Help her to see that whole-being (body, mind, soul) wellness is within her reach.
